Hermon Chapel Repair and Stabilisation

The Gower Landscape Partnership wants to repair and stabilise Hermon Chapel, Penclawdd. The work comprises:•Removal and treatment of vegetation in and around the structure of the chapel.•Stabilising and filling gaps and voids left by the removal of door and window frames.•Sealing of cracks in external and internal walls to prevent water ingress to walls.•Capping wall tops with cement to prevent water ingress to walls.•Removal of loose cement rendering, and replacement of cement rendering externally and internally.•External walls to be painted white.•Levelling internal space of the chapel, surfacing with clean gravel.•The Contract Administrator / Supervising Officer for this project will be Mike Scott.Due to GLP funding, work will need to be completed and invoiced by the end of February 2018.
