Highways Surfacing Type Works

Wirral Borough Council (the "Council") has issued this Preliminary Market Engagement Notice to raise awareness of forthcoming contract opportunities for the delivery of Highways Surfacing Type Works (the" Contracts") and to give interested parties the option to participate in a Soft Market Testing (SMT) exercise (the "Exercise"). The Council provides regular reactive and planned highways works along with other highway infrastructure works. The contracts the Council is seeking to procure, cover all aspects of major footway and surfacing schemes, along with preventative treatments. These are - • A1.1 - Surface Dressing and Micro Carriageway Surfacing & A2 - Carriageway Structural Resurfacing • A1.2 - Footway Slurry and Carriageway Micro Hand Patching • A1.3 - Carriageway and Footway Retread • A3 - Civil and Highway Engineering
