Luton Council is working on behalf of Foxhall Homes Ltd who propose development of existing car park at Taylor Street, Luton to provide a residential scheme comprising of 32 dwellings comprising four bedroom town houses, 8 garages and associated external works and infrastructure including the reinstatement old Windmill Street. The proposal is vital to providing additional housing to meet Luton’s housing need as identified in the latest Local Plan 2011-2031. The proposal shall be a mix of affordable and private units. Foxhall Homes Ltd. is wholly owned by Luton Council, and wishes to develop high quality dwellings consisting of affordable housing (30 %), and private sale houses (70 %). The proposal has recently obtained planning permission. The potential supplier shall be shall act as a Main Contractor responsible for the design and construction of all units, associated external works, and statutory services/connections, operating under a JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 incorporating Special Conditions.
