Health Protection Zone (HP Zone) is a specialist IT system used by the Public Health Agency, Duty Room for the acute response service and surveillance purposes for the Health Protection Service. The previous contracts including change requests for upgrades to the system in March 2018 were via "Technology Partner Agreement" (TPA) and DAC from 2019 to present., The HP Zone package is specialist software only available for one supplier and is currently also used by colleagues in "Public Health England" (PHE).
