Descriptions
The Occupational Therapist will principally be required to undertake the following services in relation to the Housing Adaptation Grant Scheme for People with a Disability, the Mobility Aids Grant Scheme for all applicants in the county area.- Carry out home visits and assess the applicants' needs.- Carry out assessments remotely if necessary.- Prioritise applications and provide a Priority Rating for each application in accordance with the Department of Housing, Local Goverment and Heritage (DoHLGH) Guidelines having regards to the medical needs of the applicant.- Liaise with the Occupational Therapist Services of the Health Services Executive as required.- Submit report to the Council on works required to meet the needs of the applicant.- Other advisory services as may be required.
