ID 2131356 — DAERA AFBI — Contract for the Provision of Statistical Analysis Software

Descriptions

The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) is a Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) established under the Agriculture (Northern Ireland) Order, 2004. As a key part of AFBI’s research and development work, scientific data is gathered from many diverse experiments and surveys. These data require statistical analysis appropriate to the design of the experiment or survey they came from. A contract for the provision of statistical analysis software is sought for use by AFBI’s professional statisticians and by AFBI researchers to analyse experimental and survey data. The software must accommodate the range of AFBI’s statistical analyses from the simple through to the complex analyses done by the statisticians. It must also be suitable to be taught to scientists for less regular use. AFBI require a 2-year contract plus four 2-year optional extension periods.
