The objectives of the representation service are: — On a continuing basis represent NI red meat interests in France over the contract period; — Increase NI beef sales whilst maintaining/growing lamb share against a background of supply shortages and seasonal patterns in volume and price; — Develop a recognised NI red Meat brand presence with consumers in France; and — Represent NI red meat interests in respect of any emerging issues regarding supply and market access. The type of support to be provided in respect of a representation and promotional service for NI red meat exporters will cover the following key deliverables: — Promotional support with retail and food service and PR; — Overseas exhibitions other than Anuga/SIAL; — Export seminars, workshops and training; — Market intelligence, trade enquiries service; — Inward and outward mission; — Market and trade development through permanent overseas support; and — Specific assistance to exporters overseas.
