Descriptions

United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) wishes to procure an inert atmosphere (argon) glove box system to facilitate safe and chemically stable storage and handling of atmosphere sensitive lithium-containing materials. These materials will be predominantly lithium-containing oxide ceramics. The primary purpose of this inert atmosphere glove box system is to enable long-term storage and handling of lithium-containing oxide ceramic samples, and preparation thereof for various testing and analysis at UKAEA in an environment in which these materials remain chemically stable (i.e. controlled, moisture-free, inert atmosphere) for long periods time (i.e. years).
