Infrared Camera, Filter and Illumination Kit

Descriptions

Examination of artist’s materials and techniques is key to the work of the Museum art conservation department. This camera system will be used for infrared reflectography of paintings on fabric and rigid supports, for analysis of underdrawing and damage. Resulting images must be of publishable quality and the supplier must have a proven track record of working with significant fine art museum collections. A suitable lighting rig and support for the camera must also be included. AC-NMW will supply the PC for use with the infrared camera equipment, and it is therefore required that the supplier will work with the organisation to ensure compatibility.
