The Local Authority have the responsibility under the Care Act 2014 and the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970 to provide a minor adaptations service to people with disabilities. Minor Adaptations are classed as changes or additions to a person's home which hep them to live independently and safely, minor adaptations can also help facilitate hospital discharge and support reablement services.
