Tenders are sought for the supply of specialist equipment (x2) to enable Vacuum Metal Deposition (VMD) for Forensic Science Ireland within the Fingermark Visualisation Laboratory (FVL).•The FVL requires the supply, installation, and commissioning of two VMD units one to be mid-size and one to be bench top for the purpose of visualising latent fingermarks on a range of non-porous and semi-porous materials. The VMD system should be of the latest technology, easy to use, robust and capable of:•Developing finger-marks of high quality characterised by excellent contrast and ridge clarity.•Employing sequential and single metal deposition processes.•Providing rapid results.•Developing fingermarks that are stable in nature
