The award is to enable the Customer Journey support function to the Government funded Warm Homes: local Grant delivery in Staffordshire. Whilst the delivery of WH:LG (retrofit installation and coordination of insulation and low-carbon heating measures are free to the end user /householder) it is contracted directly by the Council with other providers, the contract for Staffordshire's Customer Journey support is held by the Midlands Net Zero Hub with Community Homes Solutions CIC.

The Direct Award if is for the Council to award Additional services beyond the 'core services' MNZH contract with CHS - to allow effective and bespoke local support throughout the customer journey from initial marketing to customer after care over the contract period (December 2025 to end of March 2028).
