Gwynedd Council are proposing to create an off-road route from Beach Road to Pen Y Bryn, Felinheli for pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians. This tender relates to the first phase of the project. The anticipated works consist of:-- Site Clearance- Fencing- Laying new bituminous surfaced track- Laying new bituminous surfaced access road- Form new pedestrian deck to former railway bridge over public footpath- Ground investigation for supports to new access ramp- Design and construction of new access ramp (including localised bridge sections, supports and retaining walls)- Localised drainage improvements- Alterations to existing kerbs and footways at new crossing pointsIt is anticipated that this work will be started December 2012 and will be completed by early March 2013.
