Independent review to address discrimination and advance anti-racism and equality at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The Council, the Committee, the Director and the Senior Leadership Team believe that there is no place for racism, discrimination or exclusion, intentional or otherwise, in the life of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) or in the lives all those who work and study within it.   The overall aim of the independent review is to consider LSHTM's track record and history in respect of race equality and structural racism, including an assessment of the issues raised by members of the LSHTM community in the wake of the George Floyd murder in 2020. It will provide findings and make recommendations enabling LSHTM to follow the highest standards of policies and practices on inclusion, antiracism and decolonisation and to foster a culture of transparency, trust, learning, openness, and mutual respect.
