The government are looking to provide the appropriate Strategic Road Network (SRN) infrastructure to support the Agratas factory development, as an enabler for the plant to achieve its desired benefits.
This involves a commission from Department for Transport (DfT) to National Highways (NH) to provide a new Junction 22a on the M5 with northbound (only) slip roads, and to assess the requirement for any increased capacity at the existing Junction 23 on the M5 to accommodate the anticipated traffic growth.
