Descriptions
This contract covers provision of contract Official Veterinarians (OVs), Meat Hygiene Inspectors (MHIs) and Key Personnel for the delivery of official controls and other duties in FSS approved meat establishments (slaughterhouses, cutting plants and approved game handling establishments). Typically this includes routine attendance in slaughterhouses and approved game handling establishments for veterinary and inspector functions and duties, with routine partial audits to these establishments according to the risk based partial audit frequency; with OVs carrying out routine scheduled partial audits and follow up visits to cutting plants and unannounced inspections in cutting plants supplying ready to eat products. The service is required for the period 1.4.2017 until 31.3.2018.
