The Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP) within the Home Office wishes to undertake research on the current market for Fixed Vehicle Devices (FVD). A FVD is defined as an LTE Vehicle Device configured to give priority access for the three emergency services (3ES).As such, ESMCP will be publishing a Request for Information in May 2022 to enable suppliers to express interest and potentially participate in supplier discussions in relation to the following:•High level information on suppliers’ existing and potential FVD service offerings including accessories.•Supplier overview of product roadmap and capabilities for up to the next seven years.•Supplier views on trends in the wider FVD market.The outcome will inform ESMCP decisions on strategy and any new procurement activities. Any such decisions will be made solely at the Authority’s discretion.An on-line supplier briefing will be held at 12.30 on Wednesday 18 May 2022.
