The London Borough of Brent (“the Council”) is undertaking market engagement exercise on 23rd February 2026 (1pm-2pm) to inform the design of the procurement for the provision of Medical Advisers services, supporting the statutory requirement for Adoption and Fostering decision making. This event will take place online via Teams.

Medical Advisers for adoption and fostering panels are suitably qualified and experienced registered medical practitioners who provide independent clinical advice to support statutory decision-making in relation to children and prospective adopters or foster carers. This role includes review and interpretation of relevant health information, preparation of written medical advice, and attendance at panel where required to inform recommendations and Agency Decision Maker (ADM) decisions to help secure the best outcomes for children.
This market engagement event will be used to inform the design of the procurement, test market capacity, understand appropriate pricing structures, Inform the development of the pricing schedule and the contract model.
