Descriptions
NHS Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group wish to expand upon the existing provision of mental health support teams in schools.In Norfolk and Waveney, funding has been awarded to implement 10 Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in school, which represents around 50% coverage for the schools and Children and Young People (CYP). Six teams have already been introduced (2 teams per year, starting from 2020) with a further 4 teams yet to begin (2 in January 2023, 2 in 2024). These teams work across the Norfolk and Waveney landscape.
