Awarded
Mescan2021-01 - New Brewhouse for Mescan Artisian Brewery
Descriptions
Located on the slopes of Croagh Patrick, Mescan Brewery is owned & run by former vets Bart Adons & Cillian Ó Móráin. It is named after St. Patricks personal brewer, the monk, Mescan. The beers are inspired by Bart’s native Belgium. They are naturally and traditionally brewed using a process that takes many months to produce superior quality vegan-friendly beers. Due to increased demand for our beer we are planning to upgrade our manual 10Hl 2 vessel brewhouse to a 25Hl 3 vessel set up with some automation. As this new brewhouse will be steam heated, a steam boiler will be included in the tender. Furthermore, we will need a 50HL fermenter to accommodate double batching, a 50 Hl HLT, a malt handling system, yeast delivery vessels and a backup single phase glycol chiller with 10 Hl glycol tank. This tender will be all inclusive; supply of equipment, software development, back-up services and delivery to our site at Kilsallagh, Westport
