Descriptions
To form a 4 year Multi-Operator Framework. Works consist of the refurbishment /alteration of existing kitchen area into a new student lounge, including the formation of a new entrance lobby at both entrances, including all necessary demolition works to form a new external door entrance. Allow for the refurbishment of all external sash windows as indicated on the drawings. Allow for the remedial repair works to all internal walls including new stud walls and lining including painting throughout to walls and ceilings. Install new floor coverings over existing terrazzo flooring. With new mechanical and electric works to the area as indicated within service engineers drawings and specification documents. Including new fixed and loose furniture; all as per Architects drawings and specification. External works consist of works to side entrance gate, with new paving to pedestrian areas and all associated line marking and signage. Including new site lighting and associated ductwork as per service engineers drawings and specification; all works as per Architects and Service engineers drawings and specification complete. As the internal works are being carried out within protected structures all works to be carried out in accordance with best conservation practice. Include for all necessary dust screens; Contractor is to note that access to this area is through a shared access with Client which will remain in use by the Client, students and staff throughout the duration of the works and is to be kept clear of all builders materials and kept clean at all times; all as per Architects and Engineers Drawings and specification documents.
