Multi level Narrow Aisle Freezer Unit

Descriptions

Lewis Pies are a small to medium manufacturer of pastry products to a number of sectors. We provide frozen and fresh products across the UK. Our frozen products are seeing a surge in demand. As such we have brought in a range of small containers acting as overspill freezer storage. We have 6 in total 4 rented and 2 owned providing in total 120 pallet spaces. These are expensive to run and are awkward to use given the last in first out nature of the units. We would like to look to consolidate these and build a multi level narrow aisle freezer unit we can load directly from onto large transport vehicles. The unit must be able to hold up to a minimum of 120 pallets for finished goods. Prospective schemes must include ROI calculations for the existing rental and energy consumption as well as Solar on the roof space and heat recovery from the refrigeration units to provide us with hot water. We will look at multiple construction types. Basic planning permission is already in place. Units must store goods at below -25 degreesThe new structure must tie in to the original building but doesn’t have to visually match. We are looking for a single contractor to deliver the project.Works will need to be completed by 31st March 2023
