Museum Without Walls: Touring Museum Kit

We want to provide a modular and scalable touring kit that can take our objects and/or our experts out into the community. We want a kit that ranges from a briefcase of handling objects that can be taken into a hospital or school, to a modular pop-up display that can be installed in a museum or school, to an exciting and attractive installation that will impress and engage visitors at a festival or national event. We also want to hear from our users too, and so a space for interaction and feedback is essential within this solution.We want to appoint an (exhibition) design company to deliver this solution. We have a budget of approx. £100,000 for the design, project management and delivery of this as a field-ready package. It must be sustainable, capable of longevity and repeat-use, that helps us take Amgueddfa Cymru’s collections and vision out for many years to come.We want full design and delivery the product by the end of March 2022 (end financial year).NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
