Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council invites contractors to tender for Replacement Culvert Grids at Nant Melyn, Rassau, Ebbw Vale.The aim is to reduce risk of flooding in Rassau Road, Ebbw Vale by decreasing the likelihood of blockages at the grid at Rassau Road. This will be achieved by increasing the surface area of the main grid whilst introducing two additional grids upstream to intercept larger debris. The additional grids will be located so that they are accessible from the highway to facilitate easier cleansing.
