In November 2016, the MCA will exercise the UK’s response capability to a significant maritime disaster during a two day national contingency planning exercise on the coast of Lincolnshire which will test the Government’s response to a vessel incident at sea and resulting oil pollution. The MCA has an objective to include simulated media response as part of the tested response and requires a contractor who will manage and implement the media element of the exercise
