NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB have opened the NHS HWE Domiciliary Care Any Qualified Provider (AQP) contract for applications through CarePulse: https://www.eprocurement.carepulse.co.uk. This procurement is run as a competitive process (with multi-provider award) under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR).
This contract covers the provision of domiciliary care for adults eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare and is applicable to local Providers with a CQC-registered service location within 3 miles of NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB. The contract will include both non-specialist and specialist domiciliary care services under defined Care Tiers.
Applications are open from 17 November 2025 and will close at 5:00 pm on 5 January 2026. Services will commence from 1 April 2026. Timelines are indicative and may be subject to change.
The Contract Term is 3 years from service commencement, and the Commissioner may opt to extend the Contract Term by up to 2 years, in accordance with Schedule 1C of the Contract Particulars.
