The Elizabeth Harbour Redevelopment Project is a significant redevelopment initiative aimed at transforming the port infrastructure in St. Helier, Jersey.
The project is part of a broader Harbour Masterplan aimed at modernising facilities, increasing freight-handling capacity, improving passenger services, and revitalising the waterfront area. As part of the redevelopment, key new infrastructure elements will be introduced, including a new suspended deck for Ro-Ro and Lo-Lo berthing, a reclaimed area with rock revetment, refurbished distribution warehouses, and a new passenger terminal with customs facilities. As part of the redevelopment work, part of New North Quay is intended to be utilised as a contractor’s storage area.
In addition to the Elizabeth Harbour Redevelopment Project, New North Quay remains an active facility with Lo-Lo operations and other mixed-use activities.
The south end of New North Quay comprises a mixture of structures of different ages and structural forms.
To inform future intrusive investigations, structural assessments, and paving remediation, a package of?non-intrusive surveys?is required
