Descriptions
North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the Council) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential suppliers for the delivery of a cloud-based Corporate Appointee and Deputy Case Management System. This is an information gathering exercise to help the Council understand what options are currently available in the market. The Council currently offer a corporate deputy and appointee service, whereby they will apply to the Office of the Public Guardian and/or the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to manage finances on behalf of a customer who has been assessed as lacking the capacity to manage their own finances. To facilitate the running of this service and the management of customer finances within the Statutory framework of the Court of Protection and DWP a case management system is utilised. The requirements of the system are as follows: 1. Cloud based service provision. 2. Hold details of all corporate appointee and deputy customers, with relevant classifications e.g. Residential Deputy, Community Appointee 3. Manage their finances and case work 4. Include banking requirements/commitments for reconciliation purposes 5. Reporting tool for stats and management information 6. Pre-populate all relevant forms based on customer information held in the database i.e. Court of Protection forms and DWP forms 7. Facilitate collection of appointee and deputy charges 8. To be able to generate template letters 9. The ability to upload and store documents The Council are seeking information from suppliers of a financial case management system that can fulfil all details as outlined above.
Engagement
If able to fulfil all details as per the Council's system requirements please send correspondence relating to this expression of interest via email to procurement@northnorthants.gov.uk by 08/04/2025. There is no commitment to proceed to formal procurement at this stage and the Council may also decide to direct award to a provider if following this EOI there is a lack of market responses or competition, or lack of providers who can adequately meet the needs of the Council.
