Nid yw morloi llwyd wedi’u monitro’n systematig yng Ngogledd Cymru er 2004 (Stringell et al 2014).Mae CNC angen arolygu safleoedd bwrw lloi bach yng Ngogledd Cymru er mwyn cyfrif y lloi bach ac asesu dosbarthiad y safleoedd. Bydd cyngor CNC yn cael ei ddiweddaru yn seiliedig ar ganlyniad yr arolwg hwn.To provide robust advice to Welsh Government and regulators on the Conservation Status of grey seals in Welsh waters, information on their abundance and distribution is required. Systematic monitoring of grey seals in North Wales has not been carried out since 2004 (Stringell et al 2014).NRW require a survey of pupping sites in North Wales to count pups and assess pupping site distribution. NRW’s advice will be updated based on the outcome of this survey.
