Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust (‘NGH’) has entered into a 34-year lease with Noviniti Dev Co 4 Ltd (‘Noviniti’) in respect of land at and adjacent to the entrance to Northampton General Hospital (‘the Noviniti Lease’). NGH intends to enter into a suite of documents providing for the grants of underleases of areas of land comprised within the Noviniti Lease following practical completion of the development by Noviniti of a main entrance and retail development at Northampton General Hospital (the ‘Development’). Further details are set out below. NGH has structured the contractual arrangement as a land transaction exempt from the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Directive 2014/24/EU.
