The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (NIAC) invites tender bids for the contract to deliver and support the replacement and upgrade of the virtualisation solution (Hyper V). The Assembly Commission is seeking to appoint a supplier who can: (a) provide and install the hardware; (b) provide suitably experienced on-site engineer(s) to lead and assist with installation and configuration of Azure Stack HCI and Mellanox switches; (c) carry out the testing of the new system for functionality, failover and performance; (d) demonstrate the recommended process for a phased migration of the existing virtual machine load; (e) support of all the hardware for the full duration of the contract period. The initial contract period will be 60 months with options to extend for one further period of up to 36 months and a second period of up to 24 months. It is the intention that the highest ranked tender submission will be awarded this contract.
