The Scope of the service is likely to include: • Atherstone Leisure Centre (a new replacement centre of the existing Atherstone Leisure Complex) • Polesworth Sports Centre - sports hall - joint use facility owned by the school • Polesworth Fitness Hub • Coleshill Leisure Centre – NWBC owned but part-used by Coleshill school • The Queen Elizabeth Academy – sports hall and 3G pitch – joint use facilities owned by the Academy The objective of the procurement will be to secure a most advantageous tender to achieve the Authority’s strategic outcomes whilst maximising the payment to the Authority. A RIBA stage 1 report on a replacement facility In Atherstone has been presented to the Authority for consideration, and it is planned that a new Centre will be opened in 2028.
