SNBTS requires automated plasmapheresis collection machines which must: — be capable of providing leuco-depleted plasma for the manufacture of Covid-19 Convalescent Plasma(C19-CP), Fresh Frozen Plasma and Source plasma for blood products; — these devices should enable the collection of double and triple doses of CP and FFP; — these must be in line with guidelines for the blood transfusion services in the UK (Current Edition) and the Blood Safety and Quality Regulations 2005.
