Lewisham Clinical Commissioning Group will be tendering for a contract to deliver community bed-based rehabilitation (intermediate care beds) for its’ patients.Bed-based intermediate care addresses those instances when a person’s level of need means they require intermediate care in a setting other than their own home. In Lewisham bed-based intermediate care is a time limited episode of care (of up to 6 weeks), commissioned by the CCG and supported by the Local Authority.
