Princes SEN School - New Build School
Descriptions
The proposal is to provide a new SEN school on a vacant site located off Colwell Road. The school are currently operating across four sites, and this will bring them all together on a single site. The procurement requirement will be for consultancy services and to appoint a main contractor. We have currently appointed Ridge & Partners to undertake RIBA 1-3, and will need to further appoint them for RIBA 4-6 to provide project management, quantity surveying and contract administration. They have issued a procurement tender recommendation that suggests a two stage Design and Build contract is the best option to obtain a main contractor. Therefore, we will also require the procurement of a main contractor under a PCSA approx April 2025, and subject to the final cost plan being within the budget, will look to award the main contract Sept 2025.
