Project Controls Support for the Reactors Programme

The requirement has arisen for a Consultant to provide planners and cost engineers to support the delivery of project controls within NRS Dounreay.
This will include:

• Creating, developing and updating project working programmes, performance programmes and Project Lifetime baseline programmes and associated cost estimates/underpinning, ensuring correct alignment of costs with programme phases, activities and duration.
• Contribute to the monthly reporting cycle as required, update and analyse progress against project baseline including providing advice to project teams of project controls performance issues
• Ensure correct application of Earned Value Management in project areas while participating in and providing information on project controls processes and systems to project teams
• Support change control and risk management functions as required
• Interact proactively/routinely with project teams including but not limited to project managers, planners, cost engineers, project controls support staff, finance support, risk practitioners
• Provide a mentoring service for trainee project controls staff to provide training and advice in accordance with Dounreay processes to support the in-house structured training programme
