Contractors are invited to tender for the replacement of the existing single glazed aluminium windows in the entire Boys & Girls National School complex (2685 SqM) with thermally-broken Low ‘E’ Argon double glazed aluminium windows to selected RAL colour. These works generally include the careful removal of the existing windows and the subsequent disposal, access platforms as required, builders work including protection of the building (from dust & the like), making-good any damage to reveals, painting & decoration, cleaning, etc., associated with the replacement.Please note that all works are to be carried out in strict adherence with the Department of Education and Skills technical guidance documents and general specification for primary schools, but specifically TGD 021-1a. It is paramount that the tendering Contractor is in a position to commence works on site immediately following appointment and has such resources available to meet the handover date of mid-August 2019.
