Birmingham and Solihull CCG have to appointed suitably qualified providers to provide Community Ophthalmology Services. The requirement was split into 2 lots:— Lot 1: Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS); and— Lot 2: Community Medical Ophthalmology (CMO) Services.The contract(s) put in place as a result of this process will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.Please note that the named parties on the original contract notice have now formally merged into one organisation to form Birmingham and Solihull CCG. As stated in the original notice, the contracts now awarded as a result of this tender process will therefore be with this entity as opposed to those named on the original notice.
