Provision of Funeral Arrangements within Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire

Carmarthenshire County Council and Pembrokeshire County Council are inviting tenders for the provision of funeral arrangements within the counties of the respective Authorities for the period 1st October 2017 to 30th September 2020. There will be a possible extension for a period of 1 year, subject to agreement by both parties.For the purpose of the tender, the geographical areas of the respective Counties have been split into four, namely, Ammanford, Carmarthen, Llanelli and Pembrokeshire. Tenders may submit their tender for one or more of the aforementioned areas.The tenderer will be expected to provide the service in connection with all deceased persons within the Counties where there are no other arrangements being made for disposal. This includes individuals in the community, residents of residential care homes owned by the respective Local Authorities as well as individuals placed by the respective Authorities in independent sector residential homes.
