Lancashire County Council was seeking tenders for the provision of residual waste recovery services in East Lancashire.
The requirements have been split into four lots covering the four East Lancashire district areas of Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, and Rossendale.
The services will comprise the acceptance, weighing and recovery of residual waste arising from each district area and delivered to a provider's facility by the relevant Waste Collection Authority for the area, Lancashire County Council, and/or their respective transport contractor(s).
