The Council is seeking submissions from suitably skilled and experienced organisations to provide a befriending network service. The overall aim of the befriending network is to increase social contact and reduce loneliness and isolation of older people within Hartlepool. The following service outcomes have been identified: •Improved emotional well-being •Develop and maintain social networks. •Support people to participate in their communities •Reduced loneliness and isolation Full details of the tender process and evaluation are provided in the tender documents.
