Provision of Transfer Station
Descriptions
The provision of undercover Transfer Station facilities, handling of contract recyclable materials and loading of vehicles (supplied by onward transport Contractor).
The Contract recyclables will be a single co-mingled stream comprising Dry Recyclables collected from households and a Trade Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) stream collected from Commercial Premises, comprising as a minimum:
• Plastic
• Glass
• Metal cans and tins
• Paper, card and cardboard
• Drinks cartons and tetrapak
• Household batteries (separate stream from DMR)
Tonnage: 16,350 tonnes each year (75% household - 25% Trade approximately).
