Descriptions
Glasgow Caledonian University has a requirement for the provision of venue hire for Glasgow campus graduations held twice a year. Glasgow Royal Concert Hall has the capacity for students, guests and space for the academic platform party to meet. There are no other venues with a similar capacity close by that allow the flexibility to utilise GCU Glasgow campus for some graduations activities e.g. gowning for graduands and on campus celebration events hosted by academic schools, and the venue for the ceremony itself. The venue also holds space for graduand photography which we don’t have the capacity to hold on campus, especially during term time for the winter ceremonies.
