***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION ***** This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the CCS RM6126 Research & Insights DPS Brief Description of Requirement The Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is looking to commission research to inform how future smart data schemes can be made more inclusive, with the research having a specific focus on vulnerable consumers. To encourage the creation of inclusive Smart Data schemes, BEIS need a range of detailed, practical design principles on how to design and set up Smart Data schemes and how to include vulnerable consumers in Smart Data schemes. It is BEIS' ambition to grow and accelerate the delivery of new Smart Data schemes and increase cross-sector interoperability. Therefore, this research will be vital to informing these future schemes. The following sections of this research specification provide more detail on the background and context of this research, before setting out the research requirements and application process.
