Ofgem require the services of a public affairs company to support Ofgem with work in Wales alongside some work in Westminster and Scotland to cover additional capacity gaps.

It is envisaged that the successful bidder will support Ofgem in areas such as:

Wales

* Developing a Welsh engagement programme, with meetings attended by the EA team to retain/enhance and develop key relationships.

* Sharing local knowledge and insights.

* Regular meetings to ensure EA develop relationships and understand nuance offered by agency.

* Enabling EA to respond in an agile and informed way to Welsh developments.

Wider GB

* Quarterly horizon-scanning meetings, allowing us to look at the big picture and the risks and opportunities in the coming months.

* Using the agency as a critical friend.

* Providing on the ground readouts of party conferences' energy events, which we are currently unable to attend.

* Supporting us in creating and testing an EA strategy and priorities.

* Networking, including political, corporate and third sector engagement.

* Sector expertise.

* Supporting with engagement in Westminster and Scotland.

* The scalability for additional support at key moments.

* Events capability.
