The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a bespoke radiation shielded end station to enable high beam current and high beam energy operation of a 5MV tandem ion beam accelerator. Part of the Dalton Nuclear Institute the equipment will be housed in the Dalton Cumbrian Facility, the University's research base at the Westlakes Science and Technology Park in Cumbria.
