The Contract involves the provision of archaeological consultancy services required for the R772 Ferns Village Pavement Scheme, Phase 2, along the R772 road (Main Street) and the L1023 road (Station Road) in Ferns village, Co. Wexford, comprising: Stage (i) Archaeological Monitoring; Stage (ii) Pre-excavation Services; Stage (iii) Excavations; and Stage (iv) Post-excavation Services. Stage (ii) to Stage (iv) services shall only be required where deemed warranted by the Employer, in consultation with the National Monuments Service (Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage), following completion of Stage (i) Monitoring.
