The works to be carried out at three separate locations; Suite 2A Tonna hospital, Suite 2B Tonna Hosiptal, Block D Neath Port Talbot hospital.The works at Tonna consist of converting the existing 20 bed suite into office accommodation and patient consulting rooms. The works will include replacement floor coverings, ceilings tiles, lighting and redecoration along with the provision of additional power sockets and computer data points in dado trunking. There will be an element of stripping out the existing sanitary ware inc WHB’s and making safe the redundant pipework. It should be noted that the adjacent Suites are occupied by elderly patients.The works at Block D Neath Port Talbot involve the conversion of en-suite bedrooms into office accommodation.The works will include replacement floor coverings, ceilings tiles, lighting and redecoration along with the provision of additional power sockets and computer data points in dado trunking. There will be an element of demolition and stripping out the existing kitchens, sanitary ware inc WHB’s and making safe the redundant pipework. A new toilet area is also to be provided. The adjacent floors consist of office accommodation.Funding has been approved for the Suite 2A Tonna Hospital and Block D Neath Port Talbot Hospital, and during the course of this contract it is expected that funding will be available to undertake the works at Suite 2B Tonna Hospital.
