Descriptions
New roofing to Town Hall in Tenterden. Part of the existing multi-apex roof is Kent peg tile and the building is grade 2 listed. Replacement materials will therefore need to be in keeping with original materials. A photograph of the roof from a nearby church tower is available, however, contractors will require a site visit in order to quote. Large areas are to be left untouched - the contract relates only to Kent Peg tiled areas. In the first instance, contact with Tenterden Town Council should be made in order to arrange a site visit. Contractors may wish to quote for a "tin-hat" overall covering during the work. Please itemise this within the quotation
