The UoN is not a contracting authority for the purposes of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) and its procurement activities are not subject to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Synopsis: Primary contractor required to carry out Roof Renewal Works at the South Labs and The Boiler House Buildings including: o Remove all existing waterproofing, insulation, and any Air & Vapour Control Layers from all perimeter upstands and detailing to abutment upstands and vertical skirtings. o Blisters / Detached bitumen membrane: Repair, re-adhere and protect with additional layer of matching bitumen membrane if necessary. o All new materials and accessories: Must be compatible with existing. Some brands & materials to be specified o Renewing roof as specified including: Preliminary work including formation of abutment upstands, kerbs, box gutters, sumps, grooves, chases and expansion joints. o Fixing of battens, fillets and anchoring plugs/strips as required. o Thorough Priming o Applying new underlayer, capping sheets, upstands and detailing in line with the specification.
